The IFRS Foundation Trustees recently created a new standard-setting board—the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)—to help meet this demand. The ISSB has developed two proposed IFRS Sustainability Standards: One sets out general sustainability-related disclosure requirements and the other specifies climate-related disclosure requirements. In this course we take a look at the role of the ISSB and its proposed standards for enhancing corporate reporting around ESG matters going forward and the requirements of S1 and S2.
