The IFRS Foundation Trustees recently announced the creation of a new standard-setting board—the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB)—to help meet this demand. The ISSB has already commenced work on developing two proposed IFRS Sustainability Standards: One sets out general sustainability-related disclosure requirements and the other specifies climate-related disclosure requirements.
