| Information | For the first time in history there are four generations of employees represented in the workforce – colloquially known as the Silent Generation Baby Boomers Generation X and Millenials. We are starting to see the first members iGeneration enter the workforce. Increasingly we are recognising the challenges of understanding and communicating with different generations in the workplace. Participation in this session will enable you to:
* Increase your awareness of the four generations in the workforce.
* Understand the similarities and differences in the generations
* Learn strategies for communicating effectively with employees of all generations.
* Identify potential sources of intergenerational conflict and techniques for managing them.
* Recognise how age diversity benefits an organisation |
